On Sunday we had to get another room for that night. We decided to see just for fun what the rates at the Marriott Beach Club were. This is where we had stayed before when we came with Casey's family way back when we were dating. We discovered that the rooms there were only $10 more a night than where we were currently staying. So we decided to stay our last night there. This place is amazing. The rooms are so nice, they have 3 pools, a hot tub, and of course the beach. We couldn't check in until 1pm and we had to check out of where we were by 11am. So, we ate our free breakfast and then checked out. We then went out shopping until we could check in. After we checked in we spent the day swimming and relaxing by the pool.
The next day we had to check out by 10 am, but the resort allowed us to stay on the property and use their fitness room to shower before our flight home. Again, we spent most of the day on the beach. The resort had snorkel gear that we could use, so we did some snorkeling. There were quite a few fish to see. We flew out 8:45pm, got into LA at 5am (it was a 5 hour flight), then landed in Salt Lake at 8am. We were worn out by the time we got home. We picked up Caleb from Casey's parents. When Caleb saw us he said hi and then went right back to playing. I don't think he missed us. After we got him home all he wanted all day was his nana and papa. Little stinker. Next time I won't worry at all about leaving him.
The past few days have been hell trying to re-adjust to the time change. We would get up when Caleb woke up and fed him breakfast and then we would sleep on the couch until atleast noon while Caleb played. I think we are finally back to normal, with the help of Mountain Dew.
