We planted a garden this year and have had zucchini growing out our ears and I only planted one zucchini plant. We have a freezer full of zucchini and have had way too much zucchini bread. Caleb loves helping me make it. Lately when he helps me cook, he has to taste all of the ingredients. Yuck! But, I figure it won't hurt to let him try most ingredients.
I had to work on Labor Day and Casey was on call, so we couldn't go too far away. We decided to go to Casey's parent's cabin. We were sitting outside and two moose walked to the salt lick that is in back of the cabin. The moose didn't even care that we were there.
My sister and I decided to get some back to school pictures of the kids. Caleb didn't cooperate at all. This is what I got when I told him to smile.
So, I went with it and told him to make faces, hoping it would get him to cooperate better.
Did it work? Nope!
We just got back from Lake Powell. Both of Casey's brothers and their families came. It was a blast. Caleb loved riding the tube, playing in the sand, and swimming in the lake.
Since there were more adults there this year, we also had some fun tubing, wake boarding, cliff jumping and hiking.
Caleb wanted to wake board with his dad so we tried it. Caleb said he liked it and had fun. I was proud of him. He has an awesome dad to even attempt it. I only have video of it and for some reason I can't get it to upload. Dang!
