Easter

I had to work easter weekend, so we did most of our easter fun the  friday before.  We colored eggs and baked easter cookies.  While waiting for our eggs to took I decided to look at some blogs.  One of my friends from work had posted on her blog that she used a wisk to color their eggs.  So, we tried it and it worked great.  Caleb still got a few drops of dye on this fingers but not too bad.  I think I will do it again next year. 

                         He liked coloring on them with a white crayon.

 When we were done he wanted to eat an egg.  I don't know why but I have never fed him a hard boiled egg before.  I wasn't sure how he was going to like it.  He thought is was so cool to crack and peel it.  He ate almost the whole egg.  I guess I should feed them to him more.  It was a little messy when the yolk fell out onto the table. At that point he just wanted to play in it.

                                                                 
I printed up a easter scavenger hunt for Caleb to follow to find his easter basket. Because I had to work, I don't have any pictures, but Casey said Caleb had  a lot of fun with the scavenger hunt and enjoyed the basket the easter bunny left for him.
