Zoo

Last friday I took Caleb to the Zoo.  At the entrance they were promoting sunscreen and had colored sunscreen to put on the kids faces.  Caleb chose green.  The first thing we saw were a few dinosaurs.  He loved them. When they would move and make noise he would get a surprised look on his face then laugh.

He also liked the lion drinking fountain.

His next favorite part was the diggers near the construction area.  There were a lot of kids waiting for a turn so Caleb didn't get to play for very long.  He probably would have stayed there the rest of the day if he could.  He liked the big bridge that we had to walk over.

Caleb had to help take pictures.  I held the camera while he pushed the button.  He thought that was pretty cool.  These are the pictures that he took.

He liked playing on the tigers.

We had to ride the train because Caleb loves trains.  He had so much fun on it.  He was sad when we couldn't ride it again.

I distracted him from the train by taking him to the play ground.  His favorite was the elephant slide.
He crawled through the log and played in the egg.

He didn't have as much fun at the playground as I thought he would.  There were a lot of kids there and Caleb still has to crawl up some of the steps and stuff so, a few times his hands got stepped on.  When we left he was sad to go and kept saying, "I need to go to the zoo now."  Everything lately has been "I need...."  It's so funny.

Our next adventure...................camping at Elk Ridge.  WooHoo!! So excited!!!
