One of Casey's friends from work invited us to go to Moab with them over the weekend. Our campsite was tucked back in a little canyon. It was a great spot. There were even some dessert big horn sheep that came around camp a few times.
Casey's friend has bought some old tonka trucks off ebay that are so cool. Caleb loved playing with them. They built roads and bridges and played for hours in the dirt.
We went on a few rides in the teryx while we were there. Casey's friend and the others that were there with us had side by sides that they rode. The first day we went on a trail called Fins-N-Things. It was supposed to be the warm up trail. There were a few times I thought we were going to die. Ok, we really weren't ever close to dying, but in my mind we were. Caleb just loved it and kept saying, "wee, that fun, do it again!" There was one part that we were able to do again, not that I really wanted to, but we did and afterward Caleb said, "thank you mommy, thank you mommy." He had so much fun on the rides.
The ride we did the second day was called poison spider. It was a little more challenging and I think I must have been starting to get used to things because this ride had a few scary parts, but it was still fun.

One morning we carved pumpkins before one of our rides. Caleb helped a little bit but I did most of the work. Caleb just wanted his pumpkins to have a scary mouth.
That night we had a halloween party and did some trick or treating. The kids had fun playing with glow necklaces. Then we got them dressed up and went trick or treating to all of the trailers. Casey's friend has a daughter that is a year older than Caleb and then there was a 12 year old. They were the only kids there, but they still had fun. Casey's friend's daughter was so glad to have Caleb there. She's usually the only kid when they go camping.
