Balloons and Fair

Last Saturday morning, Sandy City had their balloon festival and launched hot air ballons at the park by our house.  We woke up at 6:45am (way too early for me, I am NOT a morning person!) and headed the park with Caleb in his "jamma jams."  The look on his face when he first saw the balloons was priceless.  I wish I could haved gotten a picture of it.  Caleb was amazed.

Later that day we went to the Salt Lake County Fair.  Caleb hated the sheep.  They were too loud for him, but he enjoyed seeing the other animals.  He had to ride the ponys and smiled the whole time.
Caleb fed the pony and goats at the petting zoo.
We let Caleb ride some rides.  He rode the carousel, motorcycles, and the big slide.  The big slide was his favorite.  He went down once with me and once with Casey.  He wanted to go on it more, but we were out of tickets and he would have gone down it all day of we would have let him.

That night Caleb had to help me make dinner.  We made chicken enchiladas.  He was so proud and happy to help.
