Brynn is another CNA that I work with and she is doing a blog challege where you post every day for a month and there are specific topic that you use each day. It has been fun to read her blog the past couple of days. I thought that maybe I should do that, but I know I could never do it, so I'll just stick with trying to post more often.
So here is where my title super mom comes in. My wonderful little sister, Shelly, is a great mom and wife. I told her that I think she is super mom. Whenever I go to her house it's ALWAYS clean (but she has always been the neat freak of the family. Brylee has been bathed, dressed, hair combed, and teeth brushed. Shelly has exercised (not since she's been prego though), showered, hair and make-up done, and cute clothes on including jewlery. Shelly plays with Brylee, sings to her, and reads books with her. She has dinner planned and ready when her husband gets home. She does all of this along with babysitting sometimes and working nights as a nurse. I always feel like I'm a bad mom and wife after spending time with her.
Well, today I felt like a super mom. There were three things that really helped a lot in accomplishing this super feat. #1 Caleb slept until 9:30am. #2 Cale (my sister-in-law's baby that I babysit twice a week) didn't come until 9:30am. He usually comes at 7:30am. #3 I had my visiting teachers come over at 10:30. So, I got up at 8:00am and got ready for the day and then cleaned the house before Caleb woke up and Cale came. It was great. My visiting teachers came and went. I had some over rip bananas and decided to make some cookies with them. I let Caleb help me dump in the ingredients and stir them. He thought it was great. He always wants to help me make dinner and I usually make Casey play with him until I'm done, so I thought Caleb would enjoy helping me for once.

After making cookies, I fed the boys lunch and then put them down for a nap. While they napped, I exercised. I have to exercise at that time because I am not a morning person and refuse to get up early just to exercise, and I'm too tired at night. After exercising, I showered, of course. Then I started making dinner in my crock pot (the best way to make an easy dinner). The boys soon woke up from their naps, Cale got picked up, and Casey came home from work. I took Caleb to gymnastics, stopped at the grocery store for milk, and came home and ate dinner. Of course, through out the day I did manage to play with Caleb, color, and read some books. So, today I felt like super mom and it was great! I don't think I can do it every day, but maybe more often. I have a lot more on my mind, but I'll save it for later so that I can update my blog more often. This is a long one, so if your still reading...Thanks.
