Ice Castles

On Saturday, Casey really wanted to get out of the house and go somewhere.  I needed to get some new shoes and clothes for Caleb because none of them fit.  I swear he grows over night.  So, we decided to drive up to Park City and go shopping at the outlet.  They were having great sales.  Most of what we bought was between $2 and $5, except for the shoes.  I hate buying shoes.  They are so expensive!

After we were done shopping we drove over to Midway to the ice castles.  They were so cool.  Caleb was fascinated by them and he had to touch them.  He cried when we left because he loved touching the ice, but his poor hands were freezing and so were our feet.  When you walk through the castles, you walk on little pieces of ice.  It was like walking on gravel, but it was ice.  It was worth it though.  It was one of the coolest things I've seen in a long time.  We had a great weekend spending time together and finding something to do during the winter.

  1. I'm loving all the posts. It gives me something to do at nights while I feed Kade. I need to find out where the ice castles are. It looks like fun. p.s. I think you are "supermom"
