I don't know where October went so, I'll catch you all up on what we've been doing. My birthday was on the 20th. We spent the day in the mountains and had a picnic. It was beautiful and relaxing. I enjoyed spending the time with my boys.
We had a family halloween party. Caleb had fun playing with his cousins. Caleb was a ghost this year for Halloween. I made his costume out of 2 pillow cases. Casey thought he looked like a member of the KKK.

Caleb loved seeing the snow a couple of weeks ago.
I had Caleb paint a pumpkin. I thought it would be nice to have him be able to do something by himself.
Caleb touched his pumpkin and got paint on his hands. He was concerned at first and when he realized that I wasn't going to get mad at him, he thought it was great and rubbed his hands all over it.
Casey helped Caleb carve his pumpkin. Caleb didn't like the mushy inside, so he didn't help Casey very much with cleaning out the pumpkin.
Caleb had to carve at the same time as Casey. He liked this part much better. His dad had a harder time with all of the extra help.
Caleb's favorite part was lighting the candle in the pumpkin. He got the biggest smile on his face and kept saying, "fire! fire!"
After carving pumpkins, I started to make dinner. I put a new block of cheese out on the counter. I turned my back to find the cheese grater in the drawer. When I turned back around my cheese was missing and I heard a tiny little voice say, "mmmm. Cheese." And this is how I found my cheese.
