Canning

This past couple of weeks I have been canning with my mom, my sister Shelly, and my sister in law Natalie.  We canned peaches, pears, green beans, tomatoes, salsa, and jam.  It was a lot of work, I'm so glad we're done.  It will be good to have it to eat all winter.  Of course while we were canning, the kids were left to play on their own and oh boy! They did some pretty funny things.

Of course they had to get into the fruit and throw it all over the floor.

Caleb had to help me grind up fruit for jam.  He loved it.

They found some 3D glasses while they were pulling all of the DVD's out of Grandma's cabinet.

Brylee had to have Caleb wear her ruby red slippers and shared her lip gloss with him.  After we took this picture she put a purple beaded necklace on him, but we didn't get a picture of that.
